Ingredients
  

Casserole Base

  • 1 lb lean ground beef 85% lean recommended
  • 0.5 white onion diced
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce use halal version if needed
  • cup sour cream
  • 10 oz condensed cheddar cheese soup 1 can
  • 10 oz cream of mushroom or chicken soup 1 can
  • 1 can corn 15 oz, drained
  • 1 can green beans 14.5 oz, drained
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese divided

Topping

  • 32 oz frozen tater tots

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with diced onion, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce until browned. Drain excess grease.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture with sour cream, cheddar cheese soup, cream of mushroom or chicken soup, corn, green beans, and 1 cup of shredded cheese. Stir well.
  • Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish. Arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer on top.
  • Bake for 50 minutes or until the tater tots are crispy and the casserole is bubbling.
  • Sprinkle remaining cheese over the top and bake for an additional 5 minutes until melted. Let rest a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a crispier top, always bake on the middle rack.
  • Drain beef well to avoid excess grease.
  • Add extra sour cream or milk for creamier filling.
  • Freeze unbaked casserole for up to 3 months.
  • Bake from frozen at 350°F for 70 minutes.
