1tablespoonapple cider vinegaror lemon juice
3clovesgarlicfreshly minced
1tablespoonfresh parsleychopped, for garnish
Instructions
Pat the salmon dry with a paper towel. Lightly sprinkle salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper over the fillets. Let them rest while you prepare the sauce.
In a small bowl, combine honey, warm water, and apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice). Stir until well mixed into a smooth glaze.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Place salmon skin-side down and cook for 1 minute. Flip carefully and cook for another minute. Turn back to skin-side down.
Add minced garlic to the pan and sauté briefly until fragrant. Pour in the honey glaze and optional lemon wedges. Let simmer until the sauce thickens and coats the salmon.
Optional: Broil for 1 minute for a lightly caramelized finish. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
Start with a hot pan to ensure crispy skin.
Avoid moving the salmon too early to get a perfect crust.
Lower the heat slightly after adding the glaze to prevent burning.
Wild-caught salmon adds extra flavor and texture.
Adjust the glaze to taste by balancing the sweetness and acidity.
Let the salmon rest briefly after cooking for juicier results.
