Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 oz tub whipped topping Or 3 cups homemade whipped cream.
  • 7 oz marshmallow fluff

Dippers

  • Fresh fruit or dippers of your choice Strawberries, grapes, apple slices, pretzels, pound cake, cookies, etc.

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, use a hand mixer (or stand mixer) on low speed to beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy. Don’t rush this—lumps are the enemy here.
  • Gently fold in the whipped topping and marshmallow fluff using a spatula. Don’t stir aggressively, folding keeps the dip airy and soft.
  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. This lets the flavors come together and the texture firm up just a bit.
  • Arrange fresh fruit, cookies, or cake bites around the bowl and serve.

Notes

  • Let cream cheese fully soften to avoid lumps.
  • Fold, don’t stir, the whipped topping to keep the dip fluffy.
  • A short chill in the fridge improves flavor and texture.
  • Add a pinch of salt or citrus zest for a flavor upgrade, or mini chocolate chips for a dessert twist.
